A flaming response?

I would have loved to give off a flaming response to counter the absolute stupidity that is posted on "hate-central" a.k.a. arubanboycott.idiotsblog but I know I am better than the people that post idiotic statements on this hate-site so I will just have to do with a fact-base response to the idiotic ramblings on that site.

So here goes nothing (starting with the latest dribble posted there):

BFN asked Ramm to translate Beth's book into Dutch language. Many Dutch common people want to read Beth's new book.
I have not now, nor ever been asked to translate Beth's book, even suggesting it is a sign of extreme stupidity.

Since her husband passed away, the Queen is still morning and in a shut-in mood. She cannot rule the kingdom alone by herself. The Dutch queen lacks the talent. She cannot live longer without her husband Nicklas. Nick had been her teacher and comforter, even though she had a secret lover. Nick tolerated her promiscusity for the sake of the kingdom. Her ex-lover in Aruba is humiliating her now.

First of all her husband died more than 5 years ago and she is also not still morning or in shut-in mood, claiming that is a clear sign this person is stupid. As one can see in these pictures all of which where taken in the past few months, she looks neither shut-in or in morning. Also, she has a lot of natural talent that was already hers before she met Prince Claus.

and by the way, anonymous fool, STOP INSULTING THE MEMORY OF PRINCE CLAUS. Yes, prince Claus was his name. His full name was Claus Georg Wilhelm Otto Friedrich Gerd von Amsberg so I for the life of me cannot understand why this idiot is writing his name is Nick.
Also, he was such a wonderful person that even mentioning him by this crackpot (anonymous) is an insult to his memory and to all decent people everywhere in the world

Boasting the world's second largest gas and oil reserves, Iran remains a coveted prize for international oil companies. But Royal Dutch Shell and Total have both indicated political tension could influence investment plans.

The Dutch Royal Families own large shares of Royal Dutch Shell, and Total is trying to acquire the Aruban oil refinery from the Texans. The Dutch and the Queen are opening trading with Iran and Venesuela oil productions via Aruba.

first of all, the queen and the royal family do not own large shares of Royal Dutch shell, no-one of them own 5% or more of the company as it is mandatory to publicize all large share-holders under Dutch law.

Secondly, the Dutch government wants to impose (together with the french and english) unilateral sanctions against Iran if the UN security council does not impose new sanctions.

4. Michelle Says So said... I would agree that there are is a lot of anti-semitic and anti-jew rhetoric in the Dutch culture after researching them extensively over the last two years.

I never understood why the hatred towards Jews. I'm glad I have never been affected by the ignorance and biases towards jews. Where I come from, it is unheard of...only the occasional joke that they make more money than us other white folks.

Ok, unpolitically correct, but sinantice when do I care in making an off color comment?

not only is your opinion unpolitically incorrect but also a bold faced lie. There isn't a lot of anti-semitism in the Netherlands or hatred of Jewish people. In Europe we are one of the least anti-semitic countries compared to other european countries and for your information we have about as little anti-semitism here as the US has.

comparison:

the ADL found that when it comes to the percentage of populations that have anti-semitic views, it gave the following results 32% of Austrians, 30% of Belgians, 50% of Hungarians, 8% of the Dutch, 30% of the Swiss, 17% of UK citizens and 14% of US citizens have anti-semitic views.

IMHO the Netherlands and the US are both countries with very few anti-semites living in them.

and that is a very good thing because anti-semitism is pure evil and has to be fought tooth and nail.

She has a love child secretly. That is her biggest issue in her survival under the kingdom's destiny. The kingdom can go burst at any given time. The people are unhappy about the things of the royal court the way the status quo is right now. Drugs, postitutes, organs black market, mercy killings, and etc.
another utterly stupid remark. There is no way on earth that our queen could ever have a love child secretly. She lives in a glass cage and can't even have a simple knee surgery without it being public knowledge. She has 3 kids and none of them are secret love childs, they all are love childs because our queen and her husband loved each other devotely. And the Dutch people unhappy about our royalty? The monarchy has an almost 87% approval rating and the Queen, her son and his wife are enormously popular among the Dutch people who are extremely happy with the royal family and how things are done with regards to the royal family.

Yikes, I'm totally confused after reading this Thread and comments, grant it I do have a bad sinus headache, no joke!! Michelle, did you respond to some post re president of Iran,( can pronounce his name but not sure of spelling) speaking at NY college, before you heard about his invitation from Columbia?

What a rediculous waste that was. All Bolinger seemed to want to do was get him in front of an audience in order to insult him, which only relfected on Bolinger, making him look like a rude host. I have to say, the little squirt from the Arab hell-world got "one-up" on Bolinger with his quick-witted answer. (the only thing he actually said that made ANY sense during his entire nonsense dialogue.

The Dutch are anti-Semites. tearing down a historic group of houses facing the canal, under the guise of ridding Amsterdam of prostitution, while they are destroying the "Attic", the place that the family of Anne Frank lived in hiding until they were turned in and sent to Nazi concentration camps. This place has been preserved since after WWII, when Otto Frank, her father and the only surviver came back and was given her diary by Miep, his loyal friend and employee. Why would anyone want to destroy such a landmark, a tribute to innocent victims and truly a destination of many tourists. Only to destroy and deny the "Holocaust"......

as one can see in the above picture, the Anne Frankhuis and the red light district are very far apart from one another. That means that renovating houses in the redlight district (not tearing them down because most of Amsterdam is protected from that by building regulations) has not bearing whatsoever on Anne Franks house making this again one sickening example of how people (in this case Auntiem) are using lies and fabrications to cast negativity upon the Dutch.

And FYI Auntiem, the Achterhuis (as it is called) is fine. It is a national monument which has been restored into the way it looked when Anne Frank lived there. It is also a museum and was opened in 1999 by the Queen herself.

And another FYI Auntiem, it is a crime to claim there was no holocaust, in fact it is a criminal offence that can land you in jail.

These are just a few of the enormous amount of dimwitted, stupid and deceitful posts that can be found on hate-central, the home for the stupid remarks. They are not helping this case if you ask me because the stupidity and the hatred they are all about is everything Natalee was not about.

To boycott or not to boycott is the question

Does the Aruban government deserved to be boycotted? Yes, they do

Do the Aruban citizens as a whole deserve to be boycotted? Personally I don't think so

We all know about the Natalee Holloway case and how this case has been botched up and run into the ground by government officials in Aruba (the ALE).

Do I think the Aruban government needs held accountable by means of a boycott? Yes, I actually do believe that a few boycotts against the Aruban elite would be just what the doctor ordered.

I would love to see the following boycotts implemented a.s.a.p. against the Aruban government:

1. a cultural boycott, no US artist should visit the island of Aruba until a good faith effort has been made to solve the case, an official apology for the family for what they have had to suffer through because of the Aruban government, an official press release and apology (in the papers) in which they apologize for defaming Natalee's honor without a shred of evidence and bring the guilty parties to trial.

2. a sports boycott, no US sports-personality or team should visit the island until a good faith effort has been made to solve the case, an official apology for the family for what they have had to suffer through because of the Aruban government, an official press release and apology (in the papers) in which they apologize for defaming Natalee's honor without a shred of evidence and bring the guilty parties to trial.

3. a casino boycott by pro-players and a television boycott of sports-tournaments and gambling events held on Aruba or sponsored by Aruba until a good faith effort has been made to solve the case, an official apology for the family for what they have had to suffer through because of the Aruban government, an official press release and apology (in the papers) in which they apologize for defaming Natalee's honor without a shred of evidence and bring the guilty parties to trial.

4. A travel embargo against all government officials from entering the US until a good faith effort has been made to solve the case, an official apology for the family for what they have had to suffer through because of the Aruban government, an official press release and apology (in the papers) in which they apologize for defaming Natalee's honor without a shred of evidence and bring the guilty parties to trial.

5. an export ban to Aruba of all non-essential items until a good faith effort has been made to solve the case, an official apology for the family for what they have had to suffer through because of the Aruban government, an official press release and apology (in the papers) in which they apologize for defaming Natalee's honor without a shred of evidence and bring the guilty parties to trial.

6. an official freezing of the contacts between the US government and the Aruban government until a good faith effort has been made to solve the case, an official apology for the family for what they have had to suffer through because of the Aruban government, an official press release and apology (in the papers) in which they apologize for defaming Natalee's honor without a shred of evidence and bring the guilty parties to trial.

I would love to see all of the above happen. Unlike a travel-boycott this would not unduly punish the Aruban people who had nothing to do with this case but it will give off the message that the Aruban government is tainted and it will target the people who are responsible for this case not being handled properly.

That is a perfect world scenario that I would love to implement yesterday. So I have to live in a non-perfect world where there is a voluntary travel-boycott of Aruba and while I may believe it punishes the wrong people and lets the people responsible for the debacle remain out of harms way I respect that it is a personal choice and that everybody has the right to travel or should I say not to travel to a certain location.

If I ever were to win a free trip to Aruba I would not choose to go. I would sell my trip online and visit a place that I actually respected. I don't think Aruba is an evil place, I don't think Aruba is a particularly dangerous place, I would not want to visit Aruba for what they did in the Holloway case. I need no further reason or justification for my personal choice.

Does that mean I am pro-boycott or against a boycott? Well, I am not pro-boycott because I feel they usually don't work and usually they punish the wrong people. Am I against punishing and holding responsible the powers to be on Aruba? Hell no, they are responsible and need to feel it with boycotts that target them specifically.

Let us just hope that this case will come to a conclusion that will satisfy the family, that in the end is all I desire.

My opinion about the infighting

In the past few weeks we have been discussing this issue at some depth here on BFN and on Michelle's blog. There had been rumors for a bit longer that some people seriously disliked Debbie's choices in people she allowed posting on the board. There was MIP6, Reality, Gagirl and my own little person who seemed to be the "offending items" on BFN.

Things went from bad to worse (unfortunately) when Robin Holloway (in all her innocence and out of nothing but the kindness of her heart) stood up for Reality, MIP6, Gagirl and myself in a now infamous post. Instead of clearing the air it sadly has caused more discourse, something that Robin, I am sure, never dreamed of would happen after her words.

Now I am not going to talk about the other people at this point. MIP6 made his opinion known on BFN about the hatred, Reality can and will defend himself and I already took a stand for the integrity of Debbie and all the other mods on BFN.

Now for myself? Well it seems that a few people have made this into a state/country thing. Something that is not only dumb IMHO but also very dishonest. The tragedy of what happened to Natalee has nothing to do with countries (the Netherlands and the US that is) or about the nationality of the main suspect. What is at an issue is the deplorable work of the Aruban LE in the first week after Natalee's disappearance and how that has hindered finding the truth about what happened that fateful night.

In one of the "not so nice" posts on Michelle's blog I read this post:

I quietly stopped posting at Blogs for Natalee close to a month ago. It was becoming increasingly clear to me that Robin and Dave were being scammed by the moderator into believing that rammstein was a supporter of the family and; many sincere members of this forum, who researched and posted on behalf of the family, were being used as a front in a masterful scheme to impress these vulnerable parents. Unsuspecting members who were loyal to the family of Natalee provided credibility to the forum in order for this pretender to acquire trust and obtain confidential information. Why else would Robin and Dave utilize the services of the enemy for translating crucial documents and statements?

unfortunately this person did not have the decency to post this under their own name (instead they used "anonymous") or the decency to say this to my face. For you discerning people out there.

1. I am not a pretender
2. Debbie did not scam anyone, least of all Robin and Dave
3. nobody was used as a front for anything. A lot of people worked their hearts out because they felt it was the "right thing to do".
4. there was/is no masterful scheme to impress anyone
5. Dave and Robin are not vulnerable. They have been hurt terribly by this tragedy but, just like Beth has become a strong person through this tragedy, so have Robin and Dave. Stop selling these wonderful people short, they are fighters who are fighting for the truth and justice for Natalee and who will stop at nothing to achieve that.
6. I AM NOT THE ENEMY

Has it come so far in this ridiculous war of "who is the best supporter of the family" that people who happen to be Dutch are the enemy? Or people who will do anything to help the cause but feel that boycotts always hurt the wrong people the enemy?

So here goes. I am Dutch. I am not going to apologize for that. The Dutch are a wonderful people though be it complicated. We have a very liberal society but still have a political party in parliament who's members largely don't own TV's or radios and who deny their children the protection of vaccines because they feel vaccines are evil. We are the country where a minister of a church makes a bomb threat to stop Madonna from performing in the Amsterdam Arena. We are a very complex people just like the Americans are, just a little more liberal that is all.

The Dutch are not to blame for anything Joran van der Sloot may or may not have done (I believe he has but my motto is "innocent until proven otherwise"). The Dutch are not to blame for the bungling of this case by the Aruban police force, our police makes enough mistakes for which we are responsible and these mistakes (unlike on Aruba) are dealt with accordingly/properly. We are good allies and the American people are our friends. Our men and women in the armed forces have risked their lives standing side by side by our American friends. The US and the Netherlands are almost always on the same side of a issue. Just like the US we stand for free trade, helping friends, supporting democracies all over the world, fighting dictatorial regimes and promoting justice and prosperity. I don't think I have anything to be shameful about in that regard.

I am not a supporter of boycotts although I must say the Aruban government is mostly to blame themselves for a boycott being started (a tourism boycott). But anybody who does want to boycott Aruba by not visiting there as a tourist are free to do so, as said, the arubans must accept their responsibility in this. But my issue with any boycott is that usually it is only effective when governments get behind it and it usually hurts not the people you want to punish/motivate but the innocent working poor in a country. But again, feel free to boycott. Every is free to make that choice for themselves.

But that does not mean that I am "the enemy" of "the family". I am Rammstein, I will work my behind of to find justice but I am not going to be unfairly insulted and if that happens then yes, sometimes I will respond to those accusations (some people feel I respond unkindly when attacked, strange isn't it, being testy when attacked insulted, I must be actually human).

And about my moral code. I have never mistranslated a single thing (the refugees Dutch would have my and Debbie's hide if I would translate things incorrectly). I am translating all this stuff (and the hours and hours it takes to get right) for the quest for truth and justice, nothing else. And I am not going to apologize for my desire in wanting Beth, Jug, Dave, Robin, all Natalee's brother's/sister's, Natalee's friends and family and all the people who support them, to find out the truth, get Natalee home and put the guilty ones in a jail cell.

I am pro-family and to those who feel differently I can only say this, I couldn't care less how you feel about me or what I think. The people who I think matter know the truth, that is all I need to know.

And for those who want to insult Gagirl, Brandig or Yolibee I have a little message, I will verbally kick the living sh*t out of anyone who does that.

To those nice people at Refugees who keep insulting Debbie, I have a few things to say.

Not only is Debbie a very nice person, she is an honorable person who had the courage to apologize but who ofcourse cannot reveal her sources. Honorable people keep their promises and Debbie is that kind of a person.

You have been attacking my good friend Debbie now for weeks with horrible accusations that are totally not truthfull.

So to all the whining, bitching, nagging and insulting members of Refugees I have one message and this one comes from the heart......
